Jaime Diaz
Jaime is a former professional ballet dancer with an illustrious 15-year performance career at Boston Ballet and the National Ballet of Cuba. Born in Colombia, Jaime’s ballet journey began at Anna Pavlova’s Ballet Academy in Bogota. Jaime moved to Havana with a full scholarship to the prestigious Cuban National Ballet School when he was 12 years old. After his training, he danced in the company, and was quickly promoted to the role of Soloist, and soon after Principal. Later, Jaime joined the Boston Ballet as a Soloist where he performed a wide range of demanding classical roles in numerous productions including Giselle, Swan Lake, and Sleeping Beauty, as well as many contemporary roles choreographed by Balanchine, Forsythe, and Kylian.
Jaime leverages his profound understanding of fitness, movement, strength, agility and health for the benefit of his clients. He is a highly respected NASM-certified personal trainer as well as a sought after dance instructor. Jaimie specializes in Strength and Conditioning, Functional Training, Fat loss and Lean Muscle Development, Core Strength and Power, and Mobility and Flexibility. With over 25 years of training experience, Jaimie works closely with his clients to refine a personal fitness program to meet each person’s unique goals and needs.
Jaime is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Trainer and CPR/AED Certified.
